WHACKOS IN THE NEWS

Sometimes you catch a train and other times the train catches you.  Unfortunately, it was the latter for North Carolina's Thomas Faison.  Apparently growing impatient while waiting for the train to switch cars, he tried to crawl under the train.  That's when the train began backing up and ran over him.  Faison and what was left of his legs were taken to a local hospital in serious condition.

Sheridan, Wyoming -- Mr. Wayland Williams will be spending the next 270 days in jail.  Williams drove an old car into a pond in a failed attempt to jump over it, Evel Knievel-style.  He pleaded guilty to property destruction, dispensing an offensive matter in a pond, namely gas and oil, and abandoning a motor vehicle on state land.  Wayland said he would have made the jump had he built a ramp.

New Port Richey, Fla., --- A 400-pound man fell to his waist through the floor of his home at the Orangewood Lakes Mobile Home Community and said he had been trapped there for two days!  At one point during the hellish ordeal, a neighbor had called on him, but the man declined help!!

Largo, Fla., -- According to police, a 41-year-old woman offered to pay three teenagers $20 to come beat up her son.  But she told them to be careful with the furniture!!

Love this! Especially the last story - yes, if you want some teens to beat up your kid, better not hurt the furniture!!!

I love it! I didn't realize there was a law for "dispensing an offensive matter in a pond." bahaaaa
