followup - - OBAMA and 2nd Amendment

Read yesterday's post about the man who went to prison for defending his life and property against repeated burglars ... Sent to Jail for shooting a burglar!!!   One leftist complained about how Obama was not after anyone's guns.  I didn't say that specifically, but I found more "grist for the mill."

Offthegridnews.com reminds me I was being far too generous.  Facts:

If the past is any indication of the future, Americans better buckle up for a ride

This administration is no friend of the 2nd amendment. If the past is any indicator of the future, we haven't heard the end of gun-control. For instance:

• Then-Senator Barack Obama refused to sign a friend-of-the-court brief in support of second amendment rights in the Heller case.
• Barack Obama is on record calling for a 500% increase in the federal excise tax on firearms and ammunition.
• Barack Obama is on record endorsing a complete ban on handgun ownership.
• This administration supports gun owner licensing and gun registration.
• This administration has reversed American policy and is now working with the United Nations on global gun-control laws.

UNBELIEVABLE!!   Post your comments.  You have to see this.  First Obama insults Great Britain by removing the statue of Churchill from the Oval Office (first of several affronts and Bo has railed on Winston in the past) - - - - JESUS - now Obama gives Russians nuclear sub codes??   WTF???

Coming soon - It's Groundhogs Day!!

Occasionally we have calendar events, which occur on the same day, that when put together, seem to carry special meaning.  Two such events will coincide on February 2nd of 2011.  The two events:  Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur on the same day.  It is an ironic juxtaposition of events; one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog.
